Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 May 2025

1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Cogwright website and any course or service you purchase from us. Cogwright is operated by Cogwright, based at 19 Maha Chai Road, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand ("Cogwright", "we", "our", "us").

By visiting this website or purchasing a course, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase our courses. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected] before proceeding.

2. Our Courses

Cogwright offers online education in software and artificial-intelligence development. Our current courses are:

  • Programming & AI Basics — an eight-week beginner course in Python and AI foundations (฿3,900)
  • Machine Learning Workshop Track — a twelve-week intermediate track in practical machine learning (฿15,800)
  • Applied AI Engineering — a sixteen-week advanced programme in designing and deploying AI applications (฿32,500)

Course content, pricing and availability may change. We will communicate significant changes to enrolled learners before they take effect.

3. Enrolment and Payment

To enrol in a course, you must submit an enquiry or complete the enrolment process as described on the relevant course page. Enrolment is confirmed once payment has been received and we have sent you a confirmation by email.

Payment is processed through a secure third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details. All prices are shown in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol. By completing enrolment, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Access to Course Materials

Once your enrolment is confirmed, we will provide access to your course materials through our online learning platform. Access is personal to you and may not be shared with or transferred to another person.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep course materials available throughout the scheduled course period. In the event of technical issues or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you and make arrangements to restore access.

You are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable device, internet connection and software environment to access the course. Minimum requirements are described on each course page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the site and course materials only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute or resell course materials without our written permission
  • Share your course login credentials with others
  • Post or transmit harmful, offensive or misleading content in any community or discussion area
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or platform
  • Use course materials to develop products or services that compete directly with Cogwright without prior agreement

We reserve the right to suspend or remove access for anyone who breaches these conditions, without refund where the breach is serious or repeated.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Cogwright website and within course materials — including text, code examples, graphics, video and audio — is owned by Cogwright or its content contributors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use course materials for your own learning during the course period. This licence does not permit redistribution, reproduction for commercial purposes, or creation of derivative works intended for sale or publication without written consent.

Code and project work that you create yourself during the course remains your own. We may request your permission to feature your work as an example, but we will never do so without asking you first.

7. Completion Records

Learners who complete a course and satisfy the participation requirements will receive a completion record from Cogwright. This record confirms that the learner completed the course and is intended for personal portfolio use.

Completion records are not academic qualifications, degrees, diplomas or credentials accredited by any external body unless explicitly stated. We describe them honestly and ask you to do the same when sharing them.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel your enrolment before a course begins, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on when the request is made:

  • More than 7 days before the course start date: a full refund will be issued, less any payment processing fees already incurred.
  • Within 7 days of the course start date: a partial refund or credit toward a future course may be available. We will consider each case individually and respond within 5 business days.
  • After the course has begun: refunds are not available as a matter of course, but if exceptional circumstances prevent you from continuing, please get in touch and we will do our best to find a fair arrangement.

If we cancel or significantly change a course before it begins, enrolled learners will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.

9. Limitation of Liability

We take care to provide accurate, useful course content, but we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose of any material on the site or in our courses.

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Cogwright will not be liable for:

  • Any loss of income, employment or business opportunity arising from or related to the use of our courses
  • Errors, interruptions or delays in accessing course materials
  • Loss or corruption of data on your own devices or accounts
  • The actions or content of third-party tools, platforms or links referenced in course materials

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. No Outcomes Warranty

Learning outcomes depend on individual effort, prior experience, study time and many other factors. We describe our courses honestly, but we do not make promises about employment, income, career change, skill acquisition speed or any other outcome. The skills developed through our courses may be useful in a wide range of contexts, and we encourage each learner to set their own goals and progress at a pace that suits them.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the site or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we handle your data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If you are an enrolled learner, we will also notify you by email. Continued use of the site or course after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Thailand, unless other arrangements are required by applicable consumer protection law.
